Who I am and what I do.
My name Michele BOLOGNA (and this was not difficult to understand). I deal with software engineering, graduated in Computer Engineering (Computer Science) at’University of Bergamo. I also spent a semester at’University of California, Los Angeles, in the department of Computer Science.
I write on this site in Italian, at least for the moment. There is an English version of this site, Michele BOLOGNA (English), which is translated automatically.
Why this site.
At first it all started by accident, in 2007, because I was curious to find and choose the software to host a site, learn how to administer such a system and learn the technology. Over time, especially after receiving numerous comments, a compliment for the contents, a bit’ Advertising (is, I am happy when sharing my links) and of course some criticism, I decided to continue writing.
Why I decided to continue?
- Writing is also a way to keep in training and the ability to write communication clearly [1][2]: are increasingly convinced of the importance of having a virtual place where to gather ideas, links and publish content: the ability to be understood is to be held in constant training.
- Write here a direct way to prove what I can do and what interests me, professionally talking [3]. About, you gave a look to my tweets, to my profile LinkedIn and software I write about GitHub?
- Because this way I can guide people who seek my name on Google to find out more about me (modestly because, are the first result for the keywords “london michele” google.it google.com and the SERP in).
What you read on this site.
When a public post:
- solve a problem and I think that might be useful to someone, or when I think I can illustrate a subject better than anyone else, (for example, impostareasymmetric keys with ssh);
- when I implement something new, I write a post to explain the solution that I made and any improvements (eg, how to get the status of trains via sms, Free version “DIY”);
- Finally, if I see / feel something really interesting and I share. In this regard, You can also groped to signal something that you think through the interesting Contact: I'll look as soon as possible and possibly write a post about it.
